Admin login to C5 password failure

Hi,
C5 admin would not accept my password. I clicked the 'send password' link and was sent a new password but that was invalid also. Have done this a number of times without success. Any ideas. The install seemed to work fine and I have done some edits to the site

Ok, a follow up. I went back and entered the data again and it worked! Is there some reason why the password takes some time to change? In the time it took me to log in to the forum and post the messasge it seems to have 'propagated', weird!

Thanks chunksmurray. I was getting the email with the password so no need to look in the db. See my own reply though, odd?
i've had to use it a few times myself and it usually works pretty quicly. i.e. I check my email, open it up, copy the password, back to the page, enter the details and login.

hereNT writes "...If you have phpMyAdmin or something else running, you can look at the Logs table in your c5 database and see the email it sent you. The new password should be in the body of that text."
