An unexpected error occurred. Access Denied

I am getting this error on almost every text block on one site.

When I go to edit a text block, all shows up as normal, and can make any changes, add/delete images, links, etc When I go to save, the save starts then get a blank screen with "An unexpected error occurred. Access Denied with a .X to close the popup. When I close it, the page almost looks like a normal page in edit mode, with the Admin bar across the top greyed out. At this point, the only options are the browser back button or close the window. Everything else is dead.

The issue started after updating to 8.4.4. At the same time, I deleted and old staging directory that has not been used in over a year. This site has been live since Nov. 2017, without issue. I also have two or three other concrete5 sites active on this same server (dedicated server running cpnel WHM) that have been updated to 8.4.4 without issue.

I did a system restore to a couple of days before I did the update, returning to ver. 8.2.x. but to no avail. The issue persisted, so upgraded again to ver 8.4.4 wich did not clear thie issue.

using Brimestone theme on this site and one other that is currently in staging, working fine, and ready to go live in the next few days.

Any input or suggestions are welcome and needed.

I see a lot of issues coming up after my post here about permission denied errors. Looking further into my issue, it seems that any text block that had a complete or partial Word .doc or .docx pasted in will not let me update. The other text blocks without a doc or docx paste and all other types of blocks tested appear to be working as expected.

after a lot of hunting using some related searches, I found one reference in a barely related issue suggesting to turn off Mod Security in cPanel.

That cleared up this permissions issue. Hope it will help someone else
