Banner size

Hi all,
I am currently working with Concrete5 Theme "FRAMEWORK"
I would like to make the initial banner size much smaller. Right now I have a video page back ground but my client wants to have a static (full page width banner) across the top. currently when I drop the banner in it defaults to "Cover" and is much to large. Any thoughts on how to reset this area.

Please include more specific details of what you are referring to and what you would like to accomplish. Annotated screenshots would be very helpful.

Which HTML element are you referring to as the banner?
