Call to a member function getGroupPath() on null for everyone but admin

Hi,

on my development home page every user has this error at the bottom of the page:
Call to a member function getGroupPath() on null

They see a blank edit bar. Also people not logged in also see this error and sees the same blank edit bar.

Admin sees the edit bar as normal and does not have the error.

I am trying to get permissions working correctly on the site and I'm pretty sure I have an incorrect permission setting somewhere causing this (I wish they were all in the same place). Has anyone every seen an issue where so that I can quickly find where this would be correctable?

So, any place that has the facebook feed embed created by facebook has this conflict (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/embedded-posts).

I still believe there is a permissions issue causing thing. before I created groups and started applying permissions settings this issue did not occur.

It must have been a facebook conflict with something else on the site. putting the site in maintenance mode allowed me to remove the FB script and the page works fine. Now I'm off to try to find another facebook feed that works well in C5 version 8.
