Call to member function allowEditName() on null

Hi,
We are getting this exception, 'Call to member function allowEditName on null'. This occurs when one particular user tries to edit the page attributes. In addition, the attributes do not appear to save. Other users can add and edit attributes without any issue.
This seems to a permissions issue but cannot seem to resolve it. The website is on v8.5.0, the content and users were imported from an old 5.6 website. I suspect this might have something to do with it. All the users are admin within the admin group.

I am having the same issue. some users can't make changes. and i get this error.

Any ideas?
