Can no longer edit the Home page

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi, in a set that I am setting up with the 5.7 concrete (latest updates) - using the Fundamentals Theme, I can edit and make changes etc, but on the home page when I attempt to edit a block, remove a block or add a block I get JS errors.

Now if need be I could just delete this page and start over, but being the home page, I don't think that is as simple as it sounds.

Any ideas? See the attached image for a screen shot of the JS errors I am getting

That's really strange. What other js scripts do you have running on the home page that wouldn't be running elsewhere?

It looks to be your plugin

I added the google calendar to this page:

The only thing I added was your google API list plugin and then I could not add or edit blocks (I could eidt yours but not remove it)

Here is a new test page. I created a new page
http://162.251.86.49/~clascor1/index.php/about_clasc/test-page...

I created the page linked it to a sub page and then just added the Google API Calendar List.
I added nothing else.

Once that was added I couldn't pick the sub page (e.g., the previous test I hadn't picked where the test page lived, and added the google calendar FIRST, after that I couldn't publish as when I went to pick a sub page for its "home" I got those JS errors)

Also now I can edit the Calendar object, change layout, but can't remove it and can't add any other elements to the page

Hi plschneide,

Just curious, do you have CSS and JavaScript cache enabled?

Just changed to the attached settings and it didn't seem to make any difference. Good idea though!

I had a link to an external script on my homepage once. One day I could not edit the page, so I removed the link. That fixed it.

Check your links to your external scripts.
______

The link also messed up my System & Settings page. It moved the menus around.

Thanks I added a new blank page - nothing external and still same issue.

You are right.

It something wrong, when edit mode is activated. On my site I have problem like that:
Cannot read property 'menu' of undefined
Cannot read property 'block' of undefined
Cannot read property 'panel' of undefined

But when you use Google Calendar, everything is ok.

I will check it as soon as possible ! Probably I will disable my JavaScript code while editing.
