Can't edit any block on page

I had a JS error on the page using liveagent. Fixed liveagent script and everything is fine.

This might be too vague, but I will give it a shot.
Something has clearly changed on my site but I am not sure what caused this. On SOME specific pages, when logged in, I click the pencil (edit page) icon. The page reloads in edit mode. Mousing over existing blocks, adds the outline and shows the footer that shows the content are name. However, mouse clicks have no effect at all. I cannot edit or add blocks to any area.
Clearly this was OK before, I have content in the blocks already.
I see no relevant JS errors in the console.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
