Can't edit page after login

Weirdly, when I log into our Concrete instance (5.7.5.8) I no longer get the edit bar to appear up top, and cannot edit pages! I was able to only a few days ago, but not today.
Has anyone else seen this? Could it be a database issue? I know this isn't the latest version, but it seems otherwise incredibly stable, just this one thing.. (which is kind of a big deal, assuming you need to edit the pages you've created!)

I should also add that this isn't account-wide, as our administrative account still functions normally. (and no permissions have been changed in the recent past, either.)
I've had this issue on version 5.7.5.12 .
After clearing the cache, ( go to <mywebsite>/dashboard ) the issue was resolved.
