Can't edit page because other user is editing!

I need to edit a page, but I can't because it says a other user is editing the page. I cleared the cache and tried deactivating and deleting the other user but I still can't edit the page.
(I'm the superadmin)

Any way to fix this. Now it says a unknown user is editing the page, because I deleted the user..

Fixed it by putting back database backup, logging in as the user who was editing en stop editing the page...

Any other way to fix this problem when not having a backup?

I've not tried it, but you could try poking the value of Pages.cCheckedOutUID and setting it to another user ID. I would of course make a backup before doing this. Assuming you are superadmin, logging in as the user in question is by far the safest and easiest method of fixing the problem.
