Can't login all of a sudden??

I signed out, and when I try to log in again, it just refreshes the login page. This was all working fine before... ??

Ideas?

Have you been playing with 'log in redirect'?

I haven't. All I've done is add a page through the interface (yesterday), and then today when I went and clicked "Sign Out" and then "login" (in bottom footer), it took me to the sign in page, and I sign in and it just refreshes the page. I tried in a couple different browsers as well...

I'm on a deadline with a client and this puts a major wrench in things.

I tried to log in with a non existent account and it just refreshes the page. It should give an error message.

Are you logging in with the right email and password?

Exactly. That's what it's doing to me too. I'm using a saved user login that is the only one at the moment. Maybe I'll try copying over the newest 5.6 version to see if that helps...

Just refreshes page too. Page functions aren't working.

Try restore the original /login from the core (or remove your override). That'll rule out any issues in your /single_pages/login.php file ...

By copying the login.php file from the concrete/single_pages/ directory?

I just realized, I don't know how to upgrade the site to 5.6 without being logged in either...

The log in form attributes look okay.

How was the custom log in page produced?

You don't need to log in to upgrade to 5.6, do it from the server and just replace the 'concrete' folder.

Yep. Also theres a full guide by Matt about upgrading manually, have a search for "manual upgrade" or something similar ..

I copied over a fresh 5.5.2.1 and have the default login page. Now it's showing my user login is all of a sudden invalid. This can't be possible. How do I recover admin login rights to get into dashboard??

OMG. Figured it out. I had changed the email address I was using for the admin account a few days back through the front account profile page (testing, playing, etc) and since I have "use email address to login" set, this changed my login to the new email and existing password... if I would have paid attention to begin with that it wasn't asking for username and password, but email address and password, I might have figured it out sooner.

Long week. Sorry for wasting anyone's time!
