cID numbers replacing canonical page names

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Someone got into my site and now all navigation is lost (showing cID numbers instead of canonical names). Is there a way to remove all of these cID numbers and return to canonical designations listed in page properties.

Did Pretty URLs get turned off? Or does this get fixed if you clear the cache, switch them off, switch them on, then clear the cache again?

Fixed it. Thanks!

Now I cannot even log onto my Concrete5 site. It won't even send me a new password from the logon page. It says "no such email on file" or something equally aggravating. What would you do? I need to edit my site..

Access the database directly using phpMyAdmin or something similar and change the email address for the admin user in the Users table.

I can get into Concrete5 and I did change my password and assured myself that my email is correct there. I am just not allowed to log into my site to edit via C5. Maybe there is something in my profile that I missed?

Your password into concrete5.org and your website are completely separate. You need to find the database for your website and change the email address in the Users table
