Could use some help - Home Page is blank

Hi all,
I am brand new to concrete and I'm telling you, it's not that easy to navigate your way around in the beginning.

My initial install was blank, and I added a small, clean theme and installed the blank blog addon to get started with. I am having multiple issues with this.

I am trying to figure out how, when I add a new post in the blog section, it populates the "recent posts" on the home page. Right now, that section (The entire page really) is completely blank. Is there a way to automatically show say, the last 10 posts with their thumbnails under this section and update it each time I add a new post?

Hey Jax

If you just want to remove the comments block from all blog pages go into Dashboard > Pages & Themes > Page Types. Under page type you should see a line item entitled "Blog Entry". Click the output button on the "Blog Entry" line item.

You should now see a page entitled "Defaults and Output". This is where all the page templates live for the blog entry page type. There should be only one default template. Click the edit button on the right hand side of the template to edit the template.

Once you press edit you should now see your blog page. You can now edit the global elements that appear on your blog pages. To delete any of the block on this page (in your case you want to delete the conversation block) just click the edit button in the top left hand corner of your site (the one with the pen icon). Then hover over the conversation block and delete it. Then save the configuration and click the edit button again to come out of edit mode.

This will remove the comments section from your blog pages. Hope this helps.
