Deleting blocks but the link still shows on site.

I've deleted 5 pictures (blocks) on the bottom of my website and links still show on site. How do I get rid of those links? They were deleted a week ago, I'm not sure how to fix.
I'm not to savvy on all this but any help would be great.

Did you delete the image BLOCKS (presumably from the global footer), or did you just delete the image FILES?

The most common reason that this happens is that your Global Area isn't Approved. If you login to Dashboard -> Stacks & Blocks and click on your area, you might see an "Approve" button, if you do click that and your changes should show to the public.
