Elemental Theme sitewide header site title block question

Hello,

I am moving my site from an older version of C5 to 5.7.5.2.

On the old version, I have a site wide banner logo that fills the entire top of the page:

The dark blue block with "EOM" and the motorcycle is one image.

On the new version, I am using the sitewide header site title block to display the image; the block resizes the image down to the size of the block, which only covers a third of the header.

I am looking for a way to have the banner fill that entire space of the sitewide header area - as a background image or in any manner that would work.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. This is side project of mine; I organize this event each year - I am by no means an IT guru or professional...

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi extrememarine,

An alternative to using the logo image to fill the header, could be changing the background color of the header to match the logo.

- go to the Customize Theme panel
Toolbar > Page Settings (gear icon) > Design > Theme > Customize > Header > Background
- click the color swatch to open the color picker
- enter rgb(52,51,153)
- click "Choose"

Please see attached screenshots showing what this will look like.

Thank you - that's an option I had not thought of!
