External Link

Howdy!
So i'm having an issue where i'm creating an external link with a page in my sitemap, and the link is being changed internally somehow.

The link I WANT is:
blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com

The link i'm GETTING is:
www.www.godigitalwithdaniel.com/www.blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com...

The 'www' is not an issue of course, but you should note that the link i'm providing is a subdomain and TLD, whereas the link i'm getting is a TLD and a sub PAGE.

See screenshot for further.

Ideas?

In order to get an external link, you should try to ad http://
->http://blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com...

Otherwise, the system will take your base URL godigitalwithdaniel.com and just add the blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com at the end.

Greetings!
Maria

Thanks!
I went back, edited the external link in Sitemap to:

http://www.blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com,... and did not get any changes.

What else could I be doing wrong?

Looks like the problem was just a typo this time. You put
http://.blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com...

See? There is a dot before "blog". Try again with
http://blog.godigitalwithdaniel.com...

That should work. Clearing the cache afterward is a good idea, too.
