Filemanager image hover previews in block editing

Hi Everyone,
When you go to the file manager in the dashboard (ie click there through the dashboard, not through an edit block screen) - there is a nice hover preview when you mouseover any image.
This effect isn't there if you go to the file manager via an edit block screen (eg when choosing an image for an image block).
Does anyone know if there is a way to have the hover effect on all file manager screens?
Also is this a bug, or is there a reason the behaviour is different?

I've just noticed the same after upgrading a site to 5.6.3.1. It's quite tricky to add images when I can't see what they really are. Did you find a fix for this?
I don't think so sorry - was kinda waiting for it to be patched in a new release.
Thanks for letting me know. I've already reported the bug via the bug tracker. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
This seems to be intentional, not sure why though..
