Global Scrapbook is empty?

So I am trying to change my site name to my logo. I have read the instructions on how to do so in the Global scrapbook however my global global scrapbook is empty. I am using the yogurt template, any suggestions?
You can make a block called My_Site_Name, and add it into the Scrapbook.
Forgive the dumb question but in what location do I add the block? Sorry first time user.....
go to dashboard/scrapbook/ and then add a new scrapbook named global scrapbook, and then add the block in that.
