How to batch editing attributes?

I just realized, that a beloved feature in 5.6 is gone lost in 5.7: Batch editing of attributes.

There is still a checkbox to choose files and pages, but it seems to be completely useless without the Flyout-Menu above, which offers several possibilities to change attributes (see screenshoot).

How can I change the copyright-note for 50 images or a special attribute (is featured) in 36 pages? Do I have to do this step by step? And if so? Why did the core team delete that feature?

Or is there a addon available in to do that?

best

The `fly-out` menu still exists on 5.7+, though it might be less conspicuous. Check the attached screenshots.

I'm not sure about in 5.7 but in 5.8.2 you can do this.

For the file manager you can use the Select key on the keyboard to select multiple files, then right click and select Properties to change attributes.

For page search you can check the boxes to select multiple pages and then from the dropdown arrow above the checkboxes you can select Edit Properties and change attributes.
