How to use a KML file after migrating to 5.7+

Hello,

first let me wish all the best for all of you for the New Year!

I migrated a homepage for one of my clients, in which we used kml-files to show different locations on a google map. Somehow I cant find a way to implement such a file in the current versions of c5.

Can anyone provide me with information how to do this?

The standard maps block on 5.6 didn't support kml, so the previous site either used an addon or it was a custom block or custom template.

Assuming you still have the old site, look through the blocks installed on the old site and any custom templates for maps blocks. Even if the equivalent isn't available for v8, the associated JavaScript may help you implement it on v8.
