HTML codes are part of my text but disappear when saving

Hello,
I'm writing a post on Concrete 5.
The subjet is HTLM. So HTML codes are part of my text. Ex: <video>
But when I save, HTML codes disappear.
How can it stay there?

When using a content block, you select the code you want to show as code and you click on the "formatting" button. It should be the 4th from the left and should say "formatting" when hovered.
In the list of choices that appear, click on "code".
