Image not showing up in content block

I am hoping that someone can help with this. I originally posted this on another thread but was advised to start a new discussion. Apologies for the long note.
When I insert an image in to a content block the image does not show up. Please see the screenshot attached. First time this has happened - website is only a few weeks old.
I am able to go through the uploading process but the end result is what you see on screenshot. What appears instead is a broken paper icon.
Also - I checked with other pages that currently have images and in edit mode I do not see an image - am attaching screenshots with image & without image. Discovered this problem on Mar 15.
Below is a recent list of activities that I did when I came across this issue - hopefully this may help.
Recent Activities:
Day before image issue Mar 14- I installed ds event calendar
Created a test page for adding events to calendar
Added topics to Portfolio
Added / installed Random Image add-on
Day of image issue Mar 15 - I removed (uninstalled) ds event calendar
Deleted calendar test page
Created Page Type - Archives - but then deleted it later on
Created a page to add insert image - went through uploading process, select image, save/insert but the image not show up.
Download File page - I came across this on sitemap - i have no idea where this came from. I do not recall ever creating this page. I sent it to trash on Mar 15, but have placed it back under home. Is this a bug? Please see attached screenshot.
I do believe that I did not do anything that seemed strange but I may have as I don't have coding skills. I am the only user and I did set up this account/website at oahufringe.com. I was on Firefox when issue occurred.
Also, a few weeks ago this happened the first time and again on Mar 14. On home page one of my images with title " What is Fringe" (not the menu link) disappeared but a question mark icon is there - when I edited block the image is in the edit image pop up and I simply save and the image reappears. Is this a bug?

Update 2 - Ok now it works using macbook air.
I am at a lost as to why it did not work before as described above.
Is the above a bug issue then or something else?
Please let me know and I'd be happy to remove this discussion or should I keep it up in case that it may still be valid for others?

Am using macbook pro 15. I was using macbook air when I first tried to insert image and could not. Iʻll try macbook air later and see if I can insert image and will report back. thanks.
