Image slider stops flipping after selecting link

I am testing my site on Mobile platforms: Android, BB and iPhone.

I've got an image slider on my home page. On both Android and iPhone, when I select a linked image, the slider stops rotating through its lineup.

It does not seem to do this for BB.

Is this a bug?
