Keeping the Sitemap Expanded while editting

Hi All --

When editting under version 5.6, the sitemap would "remember" the level of child pages displayed while editting. For example, if I was editting a section of the site that was 4 levels down from the top menu, everytime I opened or went back to the sitemap is would stay open to that last level I viewed.

Under 5.8 this behavor has changed. The site map only opens to the second level. So I then need to keep expanding the child page section. Is there a setting somewhere to change this behavior? Is it possible I am seeing this behavior because I have all caching off while I am working on my development server to migrate an existing site? If so, which cache setting controls this behavior?

This may seem minor, but it is quite time consuming when editting a large site.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi dgreer,

I can confirm that the Full Sitemap and New Page and Sitemap panel do not keep more than 2 levels of folder positions saved.

Ok - I will just have to deal with opening the lower levels.

Thanks for letting me know.

A GitHub issue was created for this bug.

"Opening more than 2 levels in the Sitemap page tree triggers a Fancytree error on reload/revisit #6293"
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/6293...

I recommend giving the issue a thumbsup and a comment to bring attention to it.
