We have a site that has been up and running for a while and now they need to add a new group of users that have permission to edit content but not to publish content. I have the group all set up and we've applied the permissions manually at the page level but we have found that there are a lot of blocks/areas where permissions have been set manually and this new group doesn't have permissions to edit the block.

Does any one know of a way to add the necessary permissions in a mass way -- we know that we want all blocks/areas with existing manual permissions to have these new permissions as well. Doing it manually will take hours as there are well over 200 pages on the site. I am expecting this to be by programming of a mysql solution.
