Page redirect

Hi Guys,

I'm having a little trouble here. All I need to do is forward a page onto another page in my website but I can't for the life of me see where to do this, I've tried editing the url to go to where I wish but that didn't work. Any ideas?

Thanks

you can do this with add external link and then just add a link to the page you want to redirect to. (go under dashboard sitemap to do this.)

Hey there,

same issue here - I have a small website of a local bed'n'breakfast, which exists in 4 languages (main + 3 extra).

The extra languages are put into subfolders, which can be accessed by adding "/language/" to the website's address.

The problem I encountered was, that I couldn't have that page displayed in the menu created for these "sub"pages, so I created an additional 'main page' for each language version.

The "/language/" page now reads "If you ended up here, please navigate to ...". I think that'll do so far, but as this shorter link is much easier to have in an eMail signature than "/language/titleofmainpage/" I'd like to have this blank page forwarded to the one with the content.

Is that possible in any way? I don't think, that this external link stuff will work, as this is a folder already.

Thanks a lot in advance.

There's a language switching How Too that might help:

Hey,

no, that doesn't. I actually already read that just a few days ago (but my page is already up and running for more than one and a half year now).
The language switching issue is actually not the problem. And as you might see on the page in the example, it's not solved there too, as "/es/" shows an empty page -->http://www.bbsanpedro.com/es/

To speak with the example, I would like to havehttp://www.bbsanpedro.com/es/ forwarded tohttp://www.bbsanpedro.com/es/inicio,... so that a link to /es/ is possible.

I see what your saying, You could make an empty page type and put a php or javascript redirect in it. Then just use that page type on the top language page.
