Pagetypes missing and wrong (v5.3)

Hi,

I have installed all templates .... Now I am missing pagetypes!
Please see the screenshots:
In C5 these are shown (and only these: there is nothing when I click on the right arrow):
Image of database (also attached):http://www.team-noehring.de/extern/error/pagetypesdb.png...

In the database these pagetypes exist:
Image of C5 display when I clock on "design" (also attached):http://www.team-noehring.de/extern/error/pagetypesc5.png...

As you see, here is a difference.
Worse: Some of the ones which can be found in the database are missing in the list of C5 (e.g. right sidebar is not displayed at all). Also: "Controler" is actually "sidebar right" (well that can be an error of the theme I guess)

Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?
(I placed the themes in the /themes directory, not in the /concrete/themes.)

[edit 1]
I am testing - removing themes and pagetypes - and it seems that C5 can only display the first 4 pagetypes in it's list: As I remove a pagetype another one shows suddenly up.
[/edit 1]
[edit 2]
Testes in Opera 10 alpha and Firefox 3.08 - so it seems NOT to be a browser problem.
[/edit 2]

ooohkay, first off...

Page types are not defined by the theme. Your site has page types you setup through the dashboard. Your theme might have template files for those page types, it might not. When you install a new theme, you do not HAVE to go through and make page types.. It might have some unique page types it has templates for, and that's great. It might also NOT have some templates for page types in that case concrete5 will use the default.php file to render that page type.

ALSO, if you are in advanced permission mode, the page types your user is allowed to add at any given point on the tree is controlled through the page's permissions. Go into edit > permissions and look for a drop down where you can change to "sub page permissions". See who has access to add which page types from here - this should help you.

Thousands of people have this behaving no problem so I'm pretty sure its not a bug, but rather a configuration issue.

Hi

I guess it's a little confusing. Will try again. Thanks for now.
