possible htaccess edit bar issue

Hi all,

I've got a strange problem where the top editing bar isn't showing up on the homepage when you have logged in, it displays it if you load the URL with index.php on the end, it also shows up if you access the page using index.php?cID=1, does anyone have any clue? Its working fine on all the other pages, prettyURLs is turned on.

# concrete5 Version
Core Version - 5.7.5.8
Version Installed - 5.7.5.8

Thanks for any help in advance!

Hello,

Just try first to clear the Concrete5 and browser cache.
Is mod_rewrite working on your hosting account?

Thanks for your reply, I had cleared the cache and deleted the cache files from the FTP which didn't seem to have fixed it at the time but I've just checked again and its seems to be working now, so maybe my browser hadn't cleared its cache at the time.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply, its appreciated.

In edit mode, i do turn off all C5 caching and browser cache (google chrome plugin).
That work fine, and you always see the correct page version.
