Remove ALL manually overridden font size and font color settings

What can be done to remove ALL manually overridden font size and font color settings in all pages so all of this can be controlled from the css files or the css customization?
i.e. to get rid of all <p><span style="color:#000">text</span></p> and be left with <p>text</p>

I wonder if you can search and replace in the database using regular expressions.

I have done that with editor macros on sql text backup files, then restored from the backup. A scary process and not for the feint of heart.
What version of concrete5 are you using?
Are you referring to content added to pages using the Content block?
