Rich Text Editor problem

I am new to Concrete5 and have made a full site and most is working ok.
I have a few problems I hope someone can help me with. The first one is about the editor.
When I open the block to edit or to add a new block to a page it show up partly below my screen. I can then pull it up by dragging it with the mouse so that I can get to the save my work. Is it possible to set the location of this window higher?
The second part that makes me have problem is the Style and Format in the editor.
1: Style dont work at all
2: I cannot add new Formats - they dont show up even if I add it to the CSS
3: I cannot choose "blockqoute" or "cite" and a few more. I can see them on the list but they are not accepted. I can add those in the HTML window manual.
4: If I add a Format defined in the CSS manual in the HTML, it is deleted if it is not already in the Format list in the Editor when I save the change.
I really hope some one can help me here as I like the way this system works.

they are fixed in version 5.4RC1 you can get the tiny mce folder from the svn
not really a fix.
When updated I can now select the Formats that is on the list.
If I add new formats to the CSS they don't show up and the Style option do not work.
So this dont really sovle my problem.

Having the same problem here. The styles list in the editor is being populated, but when I select a style, it's not changing the HTML. (Using 5.4 clean install)
I am seeing the same problem. I can add a style to the typography.css and have it show up in the drop down, but the style is not applied when it is selected.

what 5.4 are you on? I believe this has been resolved in the most recent subversion. if you haven't upgraded to 5.4.0.3, do so and lemmie know if this is still going on.

I have the newest version running and when i add new styles nothing shows up to select it.

I am having many problems with the rich text editor too. I am on version 5.4.2.2 and it is almost unbearable. Can I use any other program that makes a .rtf file and upload it, like open office?
