Severe problem can't logout

I just edited front page on my site. Then the system freezed and now I can't do anything.
There is the window "logout" but it makes nothing.

Is there same file in the system to edit and get on further. I tried three different browsers but no change.

The site opens normally and there is window logout. However there no edit mode now available.

Concrete is 5.7.

Hope you can help me!

I wrote the text above in panic. Obviously there is some automatic time lock for occations like this. I can now login again and can delete the last versions on that page.

Panic is ower. What a releaf!

If you're logged in but can't see the edit bar this is usually due to the active theme. Can you see other parts of the administrator area such as System Settings without a problem? It would be found somewhere like yoursite.com/index.php/dashboard/system

Thank you for the reply. There was nothing editable available although there was the logout text at the bottom line. So I was really worried about what to do next. I tried 3 different browsers (on Mac) and no change.

I have use only the elementary theme so far and one add-on, the Mega Menu.
Before submitting my post I checked my site once more. Alas, it was working properly and the logout text had gone finally. Then the normal login procedure was again possible and the site was editable again.

However, I submitted my post as a feedback to your knowledge.

I’ve have been using the concrete5 system a few months now.

Another site I helped fix was having similar problems with things randomly not rendering. I fixed it by disabling the JB Mega Menu from caching its block output but I can't say for sure what was causing it.
