Slideshow in Firefox and Chrome

I've been working on site tonight using Firefox and noticed slideshows created don't appear; in edit mode images can be selected and added but nothing appears. Switch to Chrome and same occurs, no images appear; so switched to IE and it works, images appear - just curious as to why it only works in IE and not FF or Chrome. Any ideas?

can't have spaces in the files names of the image files; removed the spaces and now the images show properly in both Chrome and Firefox - don't know why it works in IE, but this was an easy fix - just remove spaces in the image file names and it worked.
