Subpages - Autonav - Only show subpages of active site

Hi guys,
I'm a concrete5 newbie and i didn't get how to create a subpage of an existing page.. I do only see "Add a Page" and nothing more.. I would like to show subpages only when clicking on a "Main Page" in menu..
Could you guys help me please?

you can add a page under any other page. that's how you make a sub page.

you can edit the auto-nav's properties to tell it how much or little to show.

don't be afraid to try stuff out with concrete5, you're not gonna break anything.

what do you mean with that.. Whem I'm on my site, there is only one tab called "add a page" and that does only add a page as main.. Of course I'm trying .. But somehow it won't work in my template i added:

         $menu = new Area('Menu');
         $menu->setBlockLimit(1);
         $menu->display($c);      
            ?>


this to my template where menu should be.. Than I added a "Autonav" and it shows me the main pages.. Still i didn't figured out how to add a subpage..
