Totally Lost In Editing My Blog Page

So far I have figured out how to do other things but I cannot figure out how to change the blog page. I log in - go to edit the blog page and dont see any options like other pages to edit the default content like " My First Blog Post" , "Adding A New Post" etc. If anyone can give me a tip on how to change this I would really appreciate it as Ive looked now for 2 hours to solve this and found nothing. Thanks

Well first go to the individual blog post page like:http://mywebsite.dev/blog/my-first-blog-post/...

Then you will have a bunch of options to choose from (see screen shot).

Then you can simple edit the page.

The link is an example,

The top layer of your blog page would contain a Page List Block which lists all the pages below that Blog,

ie,http://demo.realnet.co.uk/index.php/blog/

on here you will see a list of Blog Pages, the top link Test Demo Page which goes to
http://demo.realnet.co.uk/index.php/blog/test-demo-page/...

Is where the actual page is, once on the page go to Edit Mode,
you can do so on the supplied link demo, and demo

Once in Edit Mode you will see all the editable areas on the page.[see the image attached to ThemeGuru's post]

If something is going wrong(assuming you have the relevant permission) I find it means I often have broken javascript on the page preventing me from editing.

Ah, you got me in the right direction. I had to go to that page's properties to change what I was after. I was simply going to "blog" then edit mode and trying to edit it that way, didn't realize I had to click on that page which opens another page that i can edit..kinda weird but now that I know its fine. Thanks
