Unable to Edit

Hi,

I am unable to edit any of my blocks on my website anymore. I recently tried to update, but the website broke and I had to reinstall all of my files but now I can't edit. If I click on the block the edit option appears and I can click it and it'll bring up the edit window but there aren't any editing options. I would really appreciate the help, thanks!

- what version of concrete5 are you using ?
- do you see any errors ?
- do you use firebug or something similar to find errors ?
- can you still go to the dashboard ?
- what is the url ?

Hi,
I'm using 5.5.2.1. I tried updating it on Monday and the whole website broke, so I won't be doing that again. The website itself is pretty old. Currently there aren't any visible errors, the dashboard still opens just fine, I can do pretty much every other editing option except for putting in copy, links, and photos. The URL for the website is cdaspine.com

From what version did you upgrade ?
For some older versions you need to do the upgrade in smaller steps.
Did you create a backup before the upgrade ?

I tried updating from the 5.5.2.1 to some version of the 5.6. I don't want to update I just want to be able to go back to editing with the copy available

Hi,

If you are not able to put any link in editor that means , there is an js issue.

please see error in browser console.

Thanks

Hi,
I was able to identify the JS problem but now any link that goes to another page on the website says that the page can't be found. Links that go to places outside the website are working, any suggestions?

Maybe this is related to pretty urls.
Did you have these on on the old site ?
