User Profile Page Modifications

I would like individual users to be able to modify their user profile page to include a link to one of their personalized Youtube videos. They would edit their profile page to add the video similar to the way they now add their avatar or change their passwords.

Also I would like to be able to allow each user/member of the site to add a personalized "Paypal donation button" to their profile page.

I know that the Youtube Video and Paypal donation add-ons already exist for regular site pages but I want to add them to the publicly displayed profile page. I would appreciate any help in getting this task accomplished.

To accomplish this you'll need to be comfortable editing some code for the profile page.

You can create user attributes, in the dashboard, to hold the basic info those 2 blocks need to display and make them editable on profile pages by checking the box. For example with Youtube block create a user attribute to hold the link for that users video. then in the profile page's view file hard code the block in and use the user attribute to supply the link.

Thank you very much for the quick response. I believe you have pointed me in the right direction but the programing skills required for this task are currently over my head. I will seek consultation from someone with adequate skills to get this accomplished. Do you know of such a person who may be able to offer this service for a modest fee?
