Website is shown but cannot edit pages

The site shows up OK. If I login as admin I can get to the dashboard. But if I logout or use the sitemap to view any page I get an 'unexpected error' that tells me 'An error has occurred processing this process'. (Google translate from error message in dutch). So I cannot edit the site anymore.

This is the site:http://www.hanshockx.nl

It started when I updated the site from 5.6.40 to Concrete 8.4.3. and PHP from 5.5.38 to 5.6.40.

Does anyone have good suggestions to solve this problem.

How did you update from 5.6.40?

Hi Gondwana, I did the update the the usual way: Apply update from 'systems and settings.'

That's surprising; I didn't think it was possible. There isn't an upgrade path beyond 5.6.40; you have to use a migration tool or recreate your site. I suspect you've got a mangled combination of two incompatible versions. I'd roll back to your last backup of 5.6.40 (and a version of php that suits it).

Thank you for fast reply! I was planning to make some changes to the site. I will start from scratch now after saving all content from the server... It will take some time but that's not a problem for a pensioner ;-)
