wordpress for C% vs pro blog for C%

I want to use wordpress addon for a marketplace service that will eventually tie into my twitter and facebook accts
i am using pro blog for my blog

so if i install wordpress will i get any conflicts. can they work independently?? and be installed independently??

want to buy WP for C% but not if going to mess up my blog

Our photo club used WP as it's main website and we installed C5 in a sub-directory. We then made the theme look very similar and added menu items that would navigate the user between the two systems. No one every knew we had a mixed WP/C5 site.

Last month, our webmaster gave the OK to migrate the whole site to C5 so we have finally dumped WP.
