Zip file download

Permalink 1 0 Browser Info Environment
I am not sure if others have this issue but when I am using the file download block to download zip files they always reported being corrupted and could not be opened.

I looked at the binary data and saw a blank line as the first line in the file data and this caused the zip to be corrupted.

To remove this line i removed the closing ?> tags on the file helper and the download_file controller and also had to put the following in the file helper:

before the fread section of the forceDownload method.

I am going to test the ?> tags again - i would think the flush and clean would remove any inherit carriage returns.

There is a thread on the forum about this issue it appears to affect binary file types.
