Can't delete calendars

Permalink 1 0 Browser Info Environment
Using the core Calendar, I am unable to delete calendars.
Go to /dashboard/calendar/event_list, select the calendar from the drop down then select Delete Calendar. Dialog "Are you sure? This action cannot be undone", I click Delete Calendar but the calendar is not deleted.
There are no events in the calendars I'm trying to delete.

I know this is almost a year old but maybe this could help someone else. I was experiencing the same problem. I had two calendars named the same and unsuccessfully tried several times to delete one. Then decided just to rename one 'Calendar-OLD' so i know which one not to use. For good measure tried to delete the one i just renamed... and poof, it was gone.

I'm not sure if changing the name was the what did the trick but i figured it was worth posting.
