Improving a VERY helpful add-on

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Jeramy,

This is a much appreciated add-on!
I was running into some frustration with two things:
- if I forgot to specify a parent page, all my entered data got wiped out
- the additional properties (eg "exclude from nav") were getting added as empty checkboxes to every page, junking up the custom attributes panel

So, I updated the code to fix these things and found a couple little things along the way.
The code could probably be improved (I ditched the redirect on errors), but it works!

Overall it's a bit more idiot-proof (the idiot in question being me).

Thanks!

Awesome! Do you mind if I take your changes and release this as version 1.3?

It would be an honor, sir!

(by the way: I did some testing on it, but I can't guarantee it's totally sound. I assume you'll put it through the wringer a bit before you release it)
