Quickly find Express forms using custom settings

This package allows you to quickly find which Express forms use which custom Ajax settings.

There are 2 ways of doing that.

From the dashboard

  1. Go to the Custom settings page in your dashboard (type “ajax forms” in the intelligent search box or go to /dashboard/ajaxexpressforms/custom)
  2. Click on the settings you want to check to go to their settings screen
  3. Click on the tab labeled “Blocks using these settings” (the tab will have a number on it indicating at a glance if any forms are using these settings)
  4. The forms using these settings will be listed whether they're on pages or in a stack. Click on any of them to be taken to their location
  5. If the form is on a page it will be outlined in red and will have a label indicating which settings it's using.

On a page in Edit Mode

Another way is to navigate to a page that you know contains Ajax Forms and put the page in edit mode. All forms using custom Ajax settings will be outlined in red and will have a label indicating which settings they're using.

This option is enabled by default. If you want to disable it, go to your dashboard to the Sitewide Ajax Settings page (type “ajax forms” in the intelligent search box or go to /dashboard/ajaxexpressforms/shared). There you will see a tab labeled “System”. This option can be disabled from there.

Good to know

The outline around forms and the label above them will not impact your editing experience in any way. Labels are semi-transparent pseudo-elements so you can click right through them on whatever is behind them.
