Images are mis-aligned

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have tried to re-create the gallery after the update but the image thumbnails are mis-aligned?

Is there something I am missing?

Hi!

As I can see - you have already change AIG template and view.css.php.

Now all is ok?

Hi, thanks for responding so quickly. I re-installed an older version and it fixed the issue.
I couldn't find what was causing the issue.

Hi!

Old version that you have installed can't have changed styles inside template like inline margin-top property.

You or your designers have changed your template and it's not original of AIG.

In new version of view.css.php added new properties like position:absolute for thumbnails and some fixes for Bubble Popup, but as I can see - in some new browsers it's has strange behavior.

I need to create new version with fixes.

And you not only one with these issue.

Thank you!

So, at this time you have not reasons to update.
New version has no new features and bug-fixes is very simple.

If all is ok - don't try to update before 0.8 (not official, only on github)
Also, 0.8 can be not compatible with your version of Concrete5, I want to create absolutely new version for C5.7 with FancyBox 2 and new features.
Also I can try to implement "Custom Templates" for AIG like usually all blocks for Concrete5 (at this time AIG have no support for Custom Templates because of generated CSS).

After upgrading from AIG 7.1 (or 7.3 not sure) to AIG 7.3.1 and updating Concrete5 from 5.6.3 to 5.6.3.1 the thumbnails in my galleries are offset to the right. You can see the problem here:

[/code}
I haven't uninstalled anything, in a previous reply by Cravener it seemed like he had a solution involving view.css.php. Is there a way to fix this without rebuilding the galleries?

Thanks in advance,
-Dave

Mine are doing the same thing after the upgrade. I'm going to see if I can find an old copy of the files to reinstall the old version.

Hi!

Try to edit /packages/amiant_image_gallery/blocks/amiant_gallery/view.css.php

Change lines from line 66:
.AmiantImageGalleryThumbnail<?php  echo $bID?> {
   margin: 0 auto;
   position: absolute;
   <?php if ($cropToFillThumbnail != 1) { ?>
   top: 50%;
   <?php } ?>
}

to
.AmiantImageGalleryThumbnail<?php  echo $bID?> {
   margin: 0 auto;
   position: relative;
   <?php if ($cropToFillThumbnail != 1) { ?>
   top: 50%;
   <?php } ?>
}

Then clear cache and check for thumbnails alignment.

Hi!
Sorry AIG is not compatible with JavaScript Tabs addons and templates because it reinitialize dom via JavaScript and generates duplicates of images.

Hello

After using AIG wonderfully on several sites, I am getting the same layout problem some ppl are referring to here, viz thumbnails in one long vertical column. I am using the same, latest Github version as I used successfully only a few weeks ago, sites are on same server, I have copied all the settings for thumbnail, larger popups etc from working version but I just cannot get AIG to layout properly now. Have also made the line 66 absolute-->relative change but nothing works :-(

Any suggestions from anyone who has had recent success?

Many thanks

Robert

Hi
Thank you for responding. Sorry for delay - I was on holiday.

Seehttp://baronhouse.co.uk/index.php/test...

Whether I set width at 100% or, eg, 600px i get the same problem on this site. On other sites I have no problem but I am using the same template etc and the same Amiant settings.

many thanks

Robert

I am having the same issue. When I upgraded to version 0.7.1, all of the thumbnails are displaying in one long line on the left. Please see the attached screen shot. I have now upgraded to version 0.7.3.1 hoping that it would resolve the issue but it has not. You can see the problem at:

Thank you for your help.

Hi!
As I can see browser can't load CSS for gallery.
Please check your .htaccess and configuration of your server.

Hi. My thumbnails are misaligned too, the image starting at exactly 50% of the width of the background. I went to change the css to relative position but on my version it already is. I thought I'd try 'absolute' but it made no difference. I've used AIG in the past and it was excellent. If there are no other fixes you can suggest, do you have links to older, stable versions of AIG I can download?
