Hiding obfuscated email address from search engines
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Is there a way to hide the obfuscated email addresses from search engines?
I just discovered that Google shows them in the site snippet on SERP pages. I'd be fine with the email just straight up not displaying.
Any suggestions?

You could probably put the obfuscated format to an HTML comment and parse out the comment tags when doing the de-obfuscation.
There's some information about the inner workings of the obfuscation methods available in the documentation:
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/automatic-email-obfusca...
And the default obfuscators can be of course overridden as you would override anything in c5.
With a quick test the jQuery's html()-method seems to return the contents of the target element including the HTML comments so I think you could actually do that quite easily.
