'Automatic Email Obfuscator' plugin issue?

The Automatic Email Obfuscator plugin possibly does not work as expected on Concrete5 version 5.7.5.7. After installation of the plugin, I get the following html of the email link when inspecting the code in Chrome:

<a class="obfuscated-link" href="mailto:info@xyz.com"><span class="obfuscated-link-text">support@chembytes.com</span><br></a>

Is this the way it is supposed to work? Shouldn't the content of href be obfuscated?

When inspecting the source code in the Developer Tools of Chrome, it is shown in the state that you are currently looking at. And this means the unobfuscation has already run at that point.

If you want to see the result of the plugin, you need to be inspecting the full page source (CTRL+U or "View Page Source" or request the page e.g. with curl).

Is there a way to edit my original question? I am new in this forum and I have realized that I missed to replace the second occurrence of a real e-mail address in the html code by a dummy in link-text (which somehow beats the whole idea of e-mail obfuscation, lol).

Yes, under the title of the thread it should have small grey links, one of which is "Edit".

The problem is, that I can't see any 'edit' link under the thread title, it's just 'Permalink', 'Browser Info' and 'Environment, see attached screen shot.
