Creating checklist

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to create something like a checklist with your add-on. I can see a checklist Add-on in the marketplace and it's not too priceyhttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/checklist,... but if your add-on is able to do this and more, I would prefer to purchase Block Designer Pro, I already bought the standard version a while ago.

By the way, I just bought your theme designer, I can't wait to try it out tonight!!!

Hi there,

Block Designer is all about having fields available to create something for outputting. It can be a complete tool for most, but sometimes it's needed that you code in something yourself. In this scenario, it's not up to Block Designer to build a checklist and have others check them, make the Ajax call/request and things like that. That will mean there can be a million of things like these, which will make Block Designer way too complicated/feature rich, meaning people can't know what it's all about and eventually does or may expect things to behave otherwise. Things like "Image", "Text Box" are clear as day, and that's how it's supposed to be. I have integrated a "Smart Link" lately, which gives you the option to choose from image/url/page etc. as a link, which can be very useful and is a thing for the form itself (not the output, the output is still a link/anchor, with text and URL). Always open to integrate field types like these, since they add much value and saves you a shitload of time coding the thing.

Hope it makes sense. Let me know if you have questions about the above or additional question. Happy to answer them!

Kind regards,

Ramon
