inline WYSIWYG editing?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Is it possible for the content editing to work just as the rest of the new 5.7 interface. It is so slick to edit inline. Why does the block designer open dialog like old functionality?

otherwise this is awesome!!

Hi there,

It's possible to do that, but this is not an old way at all. You can have multiple field and also non-WYSIWYG fields. It wouldn't make sense to have all this "inline". So therefore all blocks will have this popup, just like other blocks from the Concrete5 core (with the exception of "content" block of course, that's inline like you mentioned).

Kind regards,

Ramon

okay, yes I see that makes sense. I was creating a custom block that was mostly only content and was disappointed that I could not edit it inline like content block, but I see why it will not work that way.

thanks for your awesome creation, so helpful. and 5.7 really rocks!

Hehe, I thought it was nice doing inline too, but that won't work if you have multiple fields. It's just ugly and not working at all!

And good that you like the package! Concrete5.7 rocks indeed, a very good upgrade.

If you have the time, please leave a review here, would appreciate it :)
