Does what it says, and does it well. Simple to use even for a novice - takes the hassle out of using a simple responsive slider - no feature bloat so its lean AND its free. Thanks for building this add-on!

Nice! Will use again!

This is simple, yet soooo clean. Put together some custom templates, and off to the races. Slick.

What a timesaver

I literally just spent hours trying to get the default slideshow block working with a new responsive theme I installed. Couldn't get it working properly no matter what I did.

As an afterthought I tried using this addon. Worked 100% on desktop and mobile devices within about 60 seconds. Why didn't I think of it about 3 hours ago!

Perfect responsive slider for scaling on all devices

BrettDashwood
We just updated our own company website to a responsive theme (Slate, thanks c5mix) and had some scaling issues with the default Slideshow Block on different mobile devices at different orientations.

My first process was to review other Free slider add-ons before looking to a paid option. I grabbed three and after testing the Blueberry Image Slider I didn't need to look any further. It is simple and easy to use (uses filesets) and seems to scale up on all PC and mobile devices tested.

Thank you.

Just what I needed

jpgriffin
Just re-vamped one of my first websites built on C5. Adapting it to make it responsive and needed a responsive image slider. This fitted the bill exactly - I just swapped out the old with this and presto.http://www.greenacrepreschool.org...
. . . reckon I'll be using on many others ;-) Thanks.

Blueberry Slider looks GREAT on Google Chrome and Safari browsers!

tamarosher
I did have some questions and struggles at the beginning when I first tried to use the Blueberry Slider. However, I quickly got clear, helpful answers to my questions.

The Blueberry Slider was very easy to figure out, and looks truly beautiful on both Google Chrome and Safari browsers. And it looks great on all screen sizes. The beauty and ease of use of the Blueberry Slider exceeded my expectations.

I used the Blueberry Slider in 3 different ways on 3 different websites. The slider is very versatile; there's a lot of different things you can do with backgrounds, borders, and image sizes, to achieve different visual effects.

On Internet Explorer, the blueberry slider looks best when the images are all exactly the very same size. When the images are of various sizes, then what people see in the empty space, on smaller images, is the pretty background color I chose for the slider.

Unfortunately, when someone chooses Mozilla Firefox as their browser, the blueberry slider is absent, not showing at all. That was my experience August 2012.

Hi,

Thanks for the review and I am sorry to hear you are having problems using the slider in Firefox. I have used and tested it in Firefox before without any issues. Is there a website or example you could provide me with and I will see if I can determine what might be causing the problems.

Regards

James

A top image slider. Simple functionality and easy to customise. The fact that it is free is the icing on the cake.

Can't imagine a slider that would be easier to use!

This is SO easy to implement and does exactly what it needs to do. And it's free? It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you!

Perfectly responsive

I was looking for a simple responsive slider to fit the responsive theme I used, and found this slider the best one. It resizes so smoothly to all the sizes of the window.
I used it twice on the site, here you can see it in action:

This is a great (but simple) image slider. The only thing missing is the ability to link these pictures to another page.

This is a very nice add-on. It's responsive and auto-resizes images according to the size of the window. Simple to configure and use.

Thank you James for making this available for free. Another great FREE add-on for the concrete5 marketplace is always appreciated!

Great Job!!
