How different from Autonav block w/ breadcrumb template?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I'm just curious, what does this block do that's different than the Autonav block w/ breadcrumb the template? I do see it allows us to specify a separator easily, and also the "Home Page" icon, but what else? Other than this "window dressing", is the resulting breadcrumb trail any different? Does it actually create a "trail" of where you have been in the site (which the autonav/breadcrumb combo does not)?

Nothing much different, apart from what you mentioned.
I was asked to show the home icon and separator for client, so I decided someone else might want the same.
It’s only a mash up of the free 5.6 version.
Sorry does not create a history trail.

I can only get the Home icon to show when logged in - any ideas why?
