Hi,

Thank you for the kind words on 8.2 :)

In button Factory Pro you can do that when creating color schemes from the dashboard. You can set background and text color for default and hover states. Then you just have to apply that color scheme to the button when adding it to the page.

Of course the button style you chose also has an effect. For instance, border buttons don't really have a background color.

Let me know if anything is not clear.

Brilliant add-on, works a treat!

Is it possible to change the buttons background color hover in addition to the text color hover? Also wondered if its possible to add borders to buttons?

Hello,

Concerning the hover background color, yes. See my answer above.

For the border, not from the plugin itself but you can add custom classes to any of your buttons. So using those classes you should be able to easily add borders. Keep in mind though that some button styles already have borders.

Many thanks for your response.

I can't seem to locate the button background hover color element under color schemes. I can only see Text Color on hover and icon color on hover. No background color on hover. See attached screen grab.

I am so sorry and you are totally right, I don't know what I was thinking.

I was considering adding an option for background-color on hover but decided not to in the end. Because not all button styles use flat background colors and they all already do something to the background on hover like dimming it or inverting the gradient, it seemed like not a great idea.

But again you probably can do it by adding custom classes and adding your own custom CSS.
