Call Me asks for a number or email address from your site visitor and sends it instantly to you (or anyone you specify) using the latest in mobile push technology so you can call them back immediately.

At last! The ideal answer for anyone that hates filling out contact forms.

For some site visitors, conventional forms represent a hurdle to fulfilment because many visitors:

  • Don't like forms anyway
  • Think that there is going to be a delayed response - maybe even up to a week

The Call Me add-on fills the gap between live support and contact forms, allowing the site visitor to enter a minimal amount of information, and allowing the business owner to respond quickly but not necessarily instantly to notifications.

Because Call Me uses mobile push technology (via Pushover), the business owner can keep in touch on any device, including devices without a built in mobile phone.

Features of Pushover mobile push service:

  • 7,500 messages per month for free. Extra capacity can be purchased directly through Pushover.
  • Pushover costs $4.99 USD once, per-platform (iOS, Android, Desktop), to use on as many of your own compatible devices on that platform as you want. There are no monthly or yearly fees.
  • If your device is out of range of wifi or a data provider, it will receive all queued up notifications once it establishes a working data connection.

Basic Pushover set up is easy (see the Call Me add-on documentation page "Pushover Setup") and can be used for any number of notification services, not just the Call Me add-on.

Pushover also has capacity for larger enterprises and multiple recipients. For information on using Pushover, see https://pushover.net/
